"At 190 degrees, it takes only 2-7 seconds. Beyond that, McDonalds knew and had *admitted* that their coffee temperature was unfit for human consumption."
However, most coffee is unfit for human consumption when it is first poured. I don't know anyone, anywhere, who can order a cup of coffee and begin drinking it.
And besides, what was the temperature of the coffee at the time it was spilled? I haven't seen that figure. How much time elapsed from it being poured into the cup to when it was spilled on her lap?
Hey, it SUCKS she was burned. But she was a feeble old woman trying to put in cream and sugar into a cup of coffee (which means, also, that she removed the lid in a vehicle) and she spilled it.
The coffee would have never burned her if she hadn't spilled it.
My finger wouldn't have been bruised had I not slipped and fell into the flywheel.
