“Innocent until proven guilty” only applies in a court of law. It is merely a reference to the prosecution’s burden of proving guilt, rather than requiring the defendant to prove his innocence.

If Scott Peterson did it, he is guilty. OJ is guilty – he was found legally “not guilty” by twelve morons, but he is still 100% guilty of killing two people because HE DID IT!

The NOW people are absolute scumbags but they do have a good legal point. Their argument is that if Peterson is charged with the murder is the fetus then the courts are acknowledging that the fetus is a separate viable life. The basis of Roe V. Wade was that the fetus is not a separate viable life until it is born. NOW fears that this case may set a precedent for future anti-abortion cases, which is true. What they are not considering is the fact that Roe v. Wade acknowledged that it is the woman’s choice and that Lacy was not given that choice.
