Here's what I don't get:

It seems fairly evident that Iraq's military forces were relatively weak at the begining of the U.S occupation. Prior to this war, with the U.S. presence in the Gulf, and and UN Inspectors in Iraq, how well was Iraq developing its weapons systems anyway? If Bush knew that conquering Iraq would be moonlighting, why invade? Or better yet, why not invade with more inspectors?

I am deeply saddened by deaths of U.S. troops killed and also by the deaths of innocent Iraqi people.
