oily plug

My friend emailed me about his Rally 200. Up until a few weeks ago, it ran great, with a nice tan colored plug. Now a new plug fouls very quickly and comes out "oily." He is injected, so it isn't his 2-stroke oil mixture. I'm pretty sure he has a B8ES. The only thing I can think of is a bad clutch side seal. He has not made any adjustments to the bike (carb, etc.). Before I tell him to tear apart his engine, can anyone think of any other possible causes? Thank You.
