Ok, this Rally 180 engine definitely will not work with a long reach spark plug. It starts first kick with a short reach one!!!
I used to have problems starting it until I removed the plug which was covered in gas and cleaning it. I turned out the screw on the back of the carb about 2.5 turns out and it seems it is going to be fine now. The only thing bothering me is quite a bit of smoke coming out of the exhaust. Should I be worried and is there anything I can check?
