P200 Geeze Lousie

I just picked up a P200 from the shipping company. After making the 2 hour drive home and getting it out of the crate, I was surprised how different the this P was from my 1980 P125X. This P2000 has a VSX1T8500000 VIN #. The title says it a 1986 model. I messed around with it for just a bit before it got dark and tried to start but no luck. I wondered if it was the spark plug but for the luvamike I couldnt get the cursed cowl off the scooter! If anyone has any information on this year and model I would really appreciate your help. I am a novice and I hope I havent bitten more than I can chew by getting this scoot. Just a brief look over tells me I am going to have a lot to fix, replace and clean.
